Our region asks a lot of our gardens; from hot, dry summers, wildfire risk, rocky slopes to cold winters. I design landscapes with this in mind, using drought-tolerant xeriscape planting, FireSmart landscaping principles and native plants that thrive here and support pollinators.

    Our yard was fine before, but it was basically just plain cedar hedges and had very little personality. I told Eryn I wanted a meadow full of pollinators and then pretty much let her run with the colours and plant choices.

    I absolutely love the variety of colours and native plants she chose. Everything is thriving with very little help from us, and our yard is now full of beautiful flowers, bees, and butterflies.
