you have built a new home and now have a bare landscape that needs some love and attention, or you have an overgrown, outdated existing garden, feel overwhelmed and want to start from scratch. you are tackling multiple areas around the home and want to invest in a cohesive, functional plan that complements your life and family. you need a plan that’s personalized to your unique property, and value one-on-one support and a collaborative design process.
Includes:
on-site or remote discovery meeting to learn more about you, your property and the vision you have for your outdoor living spaces
site inventory and analysis
handcrafted to-scale concept design, including plant + material palette
concept plan review + feedback
one round of revisions
handcrafted to-scale custom master planting plan, including detailed plant and material lists, to be used for installation by yourself, or by a trusted landscape company
hard copy and digital scans of drawing and plant + material lists
ongoing communication throughout design and installation process
optional add-ons:
installation supervision, nursery visits or planting assistance
billed at $125/hr + GST after design is completed
starting at $2,500 + GST, larger projects in size and scope may exceed this amount. a custom proposal will be provided after initial discovery meeting.

simple garden design
you have a blank space in your garden that needs a vision, or an existing garden in the front or back yard that needs an overhaul, and you would like a custom-made, budget-friendly, clear plan in hand to tackle the gardening yourself on the weekends.
Includes:
one on-site or remote discovery meeting to learn more about you, your property and the vision you have for your garden
you’ll receive a handcrafted, to-scale rendered sketch of your garden design, including a digital copy of your detailed plant list and plant palette
travel time for visits outside of Nelson, BC billed at $100/hr
starting at $750 - $1,500 + GST

you have an existing garden, and need an extra eye with fresh design ideas, or want advice on maintenance and spring and fall clean-ups. or you have a sense of where you’d like to take your garden, and would like some advice getting over the finish line.

follow up notes + quick sketch from our conversation
travel time for visits outside of Nelson, BC is billed at $100/hr
